Contest Guidelines
your entry must be fantasy-related and/or depict a mythological story
you must use (at least) one of my MODEL stock images; you can use other stock artists' photos and my non-model stock in accompaniment as well
digital and traditional art mediums are accepted
the deviation must be NEW, so it must've been submitted on/after July 2 (it'd be nice if you'd also stated in the artist description that it's for this contest and provided a link to this journal, just be spread the word)
maximum 3 entries per person, since I'd like if you'd focus on quality rather than quantity but don't want to limit you too much
note me with a link(s)/thumb(s) to your entry(ies) and include "Contest" somewhere in the subject so I know it's a contestant
you have until August 22, 2008 11:59 PM EDT to send in your entry(ies)

I will post 6 of my stock images in my journal at the start of every two weeks (biweek).
You can use any one/few/all of these to make AS MANY ENTRIES AS YOU WANT but the piece must be new (and please value quality over quantity: though it's mini, it's still a contest).

Why are your stock images so small?
_{They're not (in my opinion); you have to click the "Download" button on the left side of each image to get the full size. I made it that way so that it's easier to look through my photos and you don't have to wait for everything to load.}

Do you do requests?
_{Not anymore; I used to, but now I'm in college and have very limited time.}

Why are there two sets of rules/which one should I follow?
_{One set, the old set that only had three basic rules, wasn't working out for me. So I had to make a second, new set of rules. I haven't gotten around to editing all my stock images yet ('cause there are so many) so some are still displaying the old set of rules. DON'T FOLLOW THOSE, FOLLOW THE NEW RULES that you can find below in this journal. Sorry for the confusion...}

How old are you?
_{18 years}

Will you ever make nude stock?
_No.

Do you make all your stock photos by yourself?
_{Mostly yes; I'm the model and the photographer for most of my stock, but I do ask my friends and family to help me out sometimes to photograph.}

What happened to that guy you used to share this account and make stock with?
_{He turned into an asshole and we're not friends/don't speak to each other anymore. It's very unfortunate and pretty upsetting, but life happens and people change. But for the sakes of the artists on deviantArt, I didn't delete the "couples stock" we made: just go to the "Browse" section of my gallery and they'll be in there somewhere.}

Can I make prints out of my artwork with your stock in it?
_{No, read the rules below. I used to be open to discussion as long as people asked me first, but many people just didn't even bother to ask my permission at all. I find that very rude so now it's just "No Prints. Period." However, I have made some exclusive stock that can be used in prints; just read the little gray box above.}

Can I post my artwork with your stock in it outside of deviantArt on my personal portfolio website?
_{I prefer you not post any artwork with my stock outside of deviantArt because then stupid people get the impression that they can use my stock outside of deviantArt (WHICH THEY CAN'T), and also for personal security reasons. But if you really, really, REALLY want to, then send me a note and we'll talk about it.}

Can we be stock sisters?
_{If you're awesome and supply stock then of course! Add me to your journal and tell me so I can add you to mine}

I read a comment and figured it was all 'cause =pendlestock included me in her news article feature ( [link] ) but NO!! It's because she suggested my piece [link] for a DD and ^Hanratty-Stock was kind enough to give it to me!! (I figured that out after I saw my frontpage )

Soooo, thank you ^Hanratty-Stock for the DD and thank you very, very, very, very....(x infinity) much =pendlestock for suggesting me AND for including me in your news feature!!! I you!!! Do you wanna be stock sisters/buddies/affiliates/peas-in-a-pod???? (I know you're probably never gonna see this journal, but whatever )
It made my day yesterday, but I didn't have time to post a journal 'cause I was busy studying for my calc exam (which is going to kick my ass today ) BUT at least I have a nice little DD I thought it would get me at least 50 favorites on it, but I'm not complaining-- I have lots of new watchers and favorites on other pieces so it's like "spread the love like melted butter"
